Treatments
Manual Therapist, Susan Ledet, PT, ND specializes in manual therapy techniques, which treat not just the symptoms but the cause of the chronic pain and/or disease pattern. By treating the body in sequence (the most restricted area first), it allows healing at a deeper level with lasting and permanent healing by aiding the body in what it is naturally trying to do. Physical Therapy can now be offered without a prescription for wellness and prevention that can be determined by Susan Ledet PT, ND.
Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy, or CST, is a form of manual therapy that works by aiding the body’s processes of self- repair and rejuvenation. The system was developed by Dr. John Upledger in 1983. He conjectured that the rhythmic motions of the cranial bones showed the cerebrospinal fluid pressure and arterial pressure within the body. The therapy works by manually detecting the motion and by lightly adjusting the flow and pressure. This, in return, casts positive effects on the body's energy level, the circulation of blood, the respiratory system, psychological stress and pain management. Further sessions have been known to lead to a large discharge of tension from the client's body. This method has been shown to be effective in removing problems like asthma, lethargy, physical and mental trauma, depression, back problems, circulatory problems and so forth.
